5-Day Movement Camp with Winston Reynolds & Samuel Caleb Baxter
Improvisation, Acrobatics, and the Cartography of Connection
For open level practitioners.
Dates: 8-12 of September, 2025
This retreat will offer the practices that deepen physical precision and intuitive openness.
Winston's Microbatic approach stems from the necessity of moving with longevity. Grounded in softness, spiral dynamics, and instinctive redirection, it invites you to dissolve the hard edges of acrobatics and discover new pathways through falling, pivoting, and shifting planes of balance. The body is seen as a responsive structure - open to change, tension, and recovery.
Samuel's rhythm-based acrobatics are rooted in coordination, control, and pulse. Movement emerges from rhythm rather than resistance - exploring rebound, contrast, and layering. Through set material and evolving drills, the focus is on timing, clarity, and developing a grounded yet agile response to momentum and stillness.
What to Expect:
• Daily acrobatic research drawing from both Winston’s and Samuel’s practices
• Improvisation labs exploring both internal and rhythm-based approaches
• Partnering sessions focused on timing, weight-sharing, and mutual composition
• Physical conditioning & coordination training
• Creative drills and movement puzzles
• Space for open research and compositional play
• Evening discussions or jams for integration, sharing, and reflection.
Each day will include a small set of practices preparing for a collaborative video project:

On September 11, we will film the piece with those who wish to participate in the retreat center's amphitheater. Participation is optional.
Retreat includes:
• 3 meals a day
• Shared accommodation (2 people per room)
• All classes, labs, and evening jams.

Selçuk’tan Şirince’ye ilk minibüs 7:00′de. 10:00′a kadar her 20 dakikada bir minibüs var. Daha sonra 10:00′dan 17:00′e kadar her 30 dakikada bir minibüs var. 17:00’dan son sefer saatlerine kadarsa her 20 dakikada bir minübüs var.
Son sefer saatleri şöyle:
- 1 Ekim – 30 Mart arası 17:40,
- 1 Nisan – 30 Mayıs arası 19:40,
- 1 Haziran – 30 Eylül arası 20:40. Her 20 dakikada bir var.
Minübüs şöförüne Yorgo Restoran’ın önünde (köyün tam girişi oluyor) ineceğinizi söylemelisiniz. Ama söylemeyi unutup son durakta inseniz de Yorgo Restoran son duraktan 150 metre uzaklıkta sadece.
Şirince ile Stoa arası 900 m. Yaklaşık 10-12 dk sürüyor. Yol boyunca tabelalar var.
